Simple Present Tense

1.    Pengertian Simple Present Tense

Tenses adalah perubahan bentuk kata kerja dalam kalimat yang berhubungan dengan waktu.

Simple Present Tense digunakan untuk menyatakan kebiasaan sehari-hari(Habitual Action), serta Kebiasaan umum (General statements of Action).

2.    Rumus Simple Present Tense

                         Verbal Sentence

             (+) S + V1(s/es) + O

                         (-) S + do/does + not + V1+ O

                         (?) Do/Does + S +V1 + O ?

   3.    Fungsi-fungsi Simple Present Tense

   Dipakai untuk menyatakan perbuatan yang masih berlangsung

Example : 1.We watch television in the evening.

                     (Kami menonton TV di malam hari)

                  2. He always gets up at five o’clock.

                     (Dia selalu bangun jam 5)

                 3. She studies English twice a week.

                     (Dia belajar bahasa Inggris dua kali seminggu)
